How to Use the Text Compare Tool
Paste your original text in the left box and your revised text in the right box. Click "Compare Texts" to see word-level differences highlighted side-by-side.
- Paste original text in the "Original Text" box
- Paste revised text in the "Revised Text" box
- Click "Compare Texts" to analyze differences
- Review highlighted changes: green = added, red = removed
- Check summary stats for words added, removed, changed, and similarity %

Understanding the Results
- Words Added (Green): Words present in revised text but not in original
- Words Removed (Red): Words present in original text but not in revised
- Words Changed: Words at the same position that differ between texts
- Similarity %: Percentage of words that are identical in both texts
Tips for Best Results
- Compare texts of similar length for clearer results
- The tool compares word-by-word in sequence — large reordering may show many changes
- For long documents, compare section by section for better clarity
- Use the similarity percentage to quickly assess how much changed
